The fall brings the beautiful cool nights and warm sunny days, our winters are mild with the occasional rain shower. You can expect crisp morning air in the springtime and warm winds. Summertime brings heat about mid-June and stays through August with a warm summer winds every now and then. This is the place to be if you like warm weather and sunshine.

Lifestyle

Richland, a community of 45,000, is a place where you can stroll along the Columbia River, enjoy an outdoor concert or find a riverfront playground for the kids. This community offers exciting water activities with its one of kind steelhead fishing, boating, and water skiing opportunities as well as a variety of downtown specialty shops, antique shops galore, and some of the Pacific Northwest’s finest wineries within a short distance.

Richland is also home the Mid-Columbia Symphony, ballet, three community theater troupes, medieval renaissance and folk-life festivals for the artistic side of you. The area has so much to offer its residents and visitors - you are bound to find many things that will appeal to your sense of leisure-time fun, sports or entertainment, including a classic car and street rod event. Richland is also home to the Meadow Springs Country Club, Eastern Washington's finest full-service private country club featuring an 18-hole championship golf course that is both fun and challenging for players of all skill levels, formerly a NIKE-Tour and Buy.com tournament site. The clubhouse offers both fine and casual dining, a swimming pool and tennis courts.

The waterfront offers a marina, several docks/piers, and a five-mile paved trail for walking, jogging, biking, rollerblading and stroller pushing, as well as restaurants and hotels with some incredible views. Richland offers beautiful and challenging golf courses, a top-rated skateboard park, the Columbia River Exhibition of History, Science and Technology, and the Three Rivers Arts & Entertainment District, which all add to the cultural offerings of this beautiful city.
